ADJECTIVE ( Describing Words)

Adjectives are those words that describe nouns or pronouns.

For example- green grass, red apple, sweet mango, cute dog, tall man, small car, hot milk..........

Adjectives in the sentences:

1.  a yellow chick
2. a tall man
3. a fat cat
4. a new dress

The words yellow, tall, fat, and new describe the nouns chick, man, cat, and dress.

There are many adjectives that help us to compare two things and tell how they differ from each other. These adjectives generally end with -er.

for example smaller, taller, longer, etc.
